We have developed a driver assistant technology that uses a robust heurstics-based algorthim to detect the aspect and context of traffic signal, sign, lane departure and forward collision.

 

 

Goal
Our goal is to refine and optimize the heurstics-based algorithm; develop an app version for use with existing hardware on mobile phones; design and construct a prototype dash-mounted camera-based sensor that incorporates the heurstics   code in order to field test and demonstrate the performance and accuracy of the technology.
